WHO IS JOE SACKOR?
Meet Joseph Sackor, a remarkable political candidate with a journey that embodies resilience and dedication. The early 1990s saw Liberia caught in the throes of war, reshaping Joseph's path and prompting him and his family to find sanctuary in neighboring Guinea---Joe was two months shy from graduating college at the time. During this challenging period, he assumed the role of President of the Liberia Refugee Students organization in Guinea, spearheading vital support initiatives for UNHCR refugee schools throughout the early 1990s. His indomitable spirit led him to the United States in 1999. Undeterred by the obstacles he faced, Joseph pursued and achieved a dual bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and International Business from Temple University, followed by a dual master’s degree in Management Information Systems and Public Administration from Devry University. Currently residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Joseph flourishes as a Senior Systems Analyst at Temple Health. Joe's pride emanates from his active contributions to his community, serving as an Honorary Delegate for Pennsylvania in the Refugee Congress, while also taking the reins as the chairman of the Liberian Medical Mission, showcasing his dedication to both local representation and impactful community initiatives. His orchestration of medical mission trips to Liberia, have resulted in a combined infusion of nearly $6 million worth of medication and medical supplies into the country. With an unwavering commitment to positive change, Joseph Sackor stands as a beacon of hope and progress in the realm of politics.

First and foremost, I am resolute in our mission to prevent gun violence through comprehensive measures that promote responsible gun ownership, enforce stricter background checks, and ensure that mental health resources are readily available. I firmly believe that every child deserves an exceptional education, and I am committed to improving educational opportunities by investing in modernized classrooms, increasing teacher pay, and expanding vocational training programs, thereby preparing our students for diverse career paths.

Economic development is crucial to our district's prosperity, and I am dedicated to fostering an environment that attracts businesses, promotes local entrepreneurship, and provides job growth. By implementing targeted incentives and supporting innovation, we can empower our community to thrive economically. In conjunction with this, I envision safe and clean neighborhoods where families can flourish. This involves bolstering community policing efforts, enhancing neighborhood watch programs, and investing in clean energy initiatives that prioritize sustainability.
